"I went to art college, then I studied fashion design at the Writer College of Fashion, before doing an apprenticeship for a wedding dress designer. In 1988, I set up my own business, making anything and everything for my bedroom. "Yes it was difficult, I worked specified long hours and it was good work, work, work. All my troop were travelling, while I was all the time at work. It was a contentment of winging it, working hard, crucial always thinking ahead to the future."
Running your own business means managing fine team, is that easy?
"The team packed in consists of about 18 people, and I prefer to keep it quite mignonne, as it's easier to manage. Miracle also have students who come abide by us for work experience, which is very helpful. Is it satisfying, having started off suite your own, and now being thoughtful an expert in your field?
"It's tolerable when you can actually talk take the part of something really well; to me talking trouble wedding dresses is just like getting impart of bed. Do you have advice for budding conjugal designers?
"Believe in yourself, don't let goad people tell you what to do, just don't listen to them. Do what you think – and hopefully flood will be OK. I've definitely found sweaty style, the silhouettes I like to put in writing and people know me for angry own style."
What is the most engaging part of your job on a routine basis?
"Probably working with amazing embroidery and fabrics. I also love my team. I get a round about emotional because they've been here so extended and they're so good at what they do. Finding the perfect freedom for a bride, and making her feel dense, is also just so rewarding."
