Machiko agano wiki
MACHIKO AGANO - Born 1953
Trained originally as a weaver, Machiko Agano important hand knits using large needles, groove garter stitch from fishing line, fabric and steel wire with the stitches made in an irregular pattern. Representation installation is fixed at points united to the ceiling and floor. Congregate preference is for materials of nonbelligerent or no colour allowing the die away of the surrounding area to overspread and permeate the work. The wall-mounted work is made from silk organza and bamboo. As with the knitted installation, the desire is to check in and make visible the delicate hint of air.
