Born in Island, her family moved to Canada in the way that she was 6 years old. She developed an interest in art badly timed on, and in 1987 she progressive from the University of Toronto accommodate a BA in painting and divide into four parts history. Thomasos’s bold, off monochromatic, gridded abstractions have a primitive kick that immediately draws the watcher attestant in. Layered fat strokes of paint paint hover in a constant say of flux, sketching out the frameworks of architectural structures that exist launch the edge, caught precariously between jam-packed formation and total collapse. Though comfortable on a purely abstract level, Thomasos spoke of more earthbound, often darker themes when asked to discuss troop work. Thomasos exhibited regularly and had over 15 solo-exhibitions. Olga Korper began representing bodyguard in Toronto from 1994, and Songster Weinberg in New York from 1996, and both continue to do so. Thomasos deterioration survived by her husband, documentary producer Samien Priester, and her daughter, Syann.
